Quick Start
- Sign in: use the sign-in option shown on first launch.
- Add item: Home → “+” → name, expiry (or Scan).
- Delete: swipe left on an item → Delete.
- Export (PDF): Profile → Share (PDF) → Save or Share.
- Notifications: Profile → Notifications (enable in iOS Settings if needed).
- Clear data: Profile → Clear All Storage (permanent).
FAQs
Is the app free? Any subscriptions?
The app may offer optional subscriptions (for example, “Pro”) that unlock extra features or higher limits. Availability and pricing are shown in the app at the time of purchase.
Do I need an account? Why sign-in?
Sign-in helps secure access and enables cloud features. We receive only basic profile info from the provider (email, display name, avatar if any, and a technical account ID) for authentication.
Is my inventory uploaded to servers?
When cloud features are enabled, your inventory items and notes may be stored in the cloud so they can be associated with your account. If you choose to attach photos to your items, those photos are also uploaded to the cloud (Firebase Storage) and linked to your account. See the Privacy Policy for details.
What is AI scan and what data is sent?
AI scan can help autofill item details based on text recognized from packaging (OCR). If you choose to use AI scan, recognized text may be sent for processing. AI output may be inaccurate; please verify important details (especially medicines). Limits may apply depending on your plan.
Will I lose data if I delete the app or switch phones?
Local app data may be lost if you uninstall the app. If cloud features are enabled, your account-linked data can be restored after you sign in again. Availability depends on your current app version and feature settings.
Does the app collect crash or analytics data?
The app uses Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports and Firebase Analytics to understand how features are used (e.g., which screens are visited). This helps us fix bugs and improve the app. This data may include device info, app state, and general usage events — it is not used for advertising or sold to third parties. How do I request account deletion?
You can request account deletion in the app: Profile -> Delete Account. If you cannot access the app, email squirrelvault.tracker@gmail.com from the address used to sign in. After confirmation, we will remove your account-linked cloud data where applicable. Local data on your device remains under your control; delete it in the app or uninstall the app.
